Roof Restoration in Thornlands
Are your roof tiles looking dull?

Do you live in the coastal community Thornlands in Brisbane? JMZ Roof Restorations has renewed roofs for dozens of homes and businesses in the City of Redland suburb, as well as bordering suburbs of Sheldon, Mount Cotton, Capalaba, Alexandra Hills, Victoria Point, Redland Bay and Cleveland.

Keep reading as we tell you about one of our recent projects in Thornlands. We also share a happy review from a local client.

Tiled Roof Restoration in Thornlands

The suburb of Thornlands lies about 30 kilometres east-south-east of Brisbane and is home to many properties which have or are currently undergoing some TLC.

One of those was a brick home with a concrete tile roof. Our qualified technicians carried out a full restoration of this roof and replaced two old (2) whirlybirds with new ones.

As this home’s roof was a made from concrete tile, as part of the restoration we re-bedded ridge capping where needed and repointed all ridge capping.

Following that we coated the surface with a sterilising solution, a primer and a two coats of durable roof membrane Elastacote High Gloss by Globalcote, in the colour Merino.

This particular roof had been painted about 13 years ago, before the current owners bought the property, so it was overdue for a revival. And they were very pleased with the outcome and the process of working with our team.

Read what they had to say below:

"Thank you to everyone from JMZ involved in our project. As the state manager for a national service company can I say that everyone from the admin team to each of the guys from the cleaning and painting crews have been fantastic to deal with. We could not have asked for more. Please pass on our thanks to the team,“
