During a roof restoration of a tiled roof, we do carry out repairs to the roof surface. We also conduct a high-pressure cleaning process, to remove dirt and contaminants, before Rebedding of Ridgecapping, where needed, and Repointing of all Ridgecapping.


Following this we typically apply the following products from the Globalcote Range of Roofing Products.


1. Primecote – a sealer which ensures maximum adhesion of final coatings.

2. Elastacote or Infracote – Coloured roof membranes available in standard gloss or heat-reflective options.

3. Clearcote Top Coat – Is another option and acts as a protective coating to improve the gloss and colour retention of the Elastacote or Infracote membrane used during your roof restoration.


For metal surfaces, we prepare the surface and carry out high-pressure cleaning.


We then apply a rust/etch primer which treats screws and any rust affected areas.


Finally, we apply two (2) coats of Globalcote roof membrane in standard gloss or heat reflective range – or Colorbond equivalent.
